Parenti Motors Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Joseph S. Parenti founded the company in early 1920. The headquarters were in Buffalo , New York, United States . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Parenti . In October 1921 Adria Motor Car Corporation was sued for patent infringement. In the summer of 1922 the money ran out. Production ended. The Hanover Motor Car Company took over the factory. A total of 18 vehicles were built.

Over 11,000 investors who deposited $ 3 million lost their money.

The first model was the Direct Blast from 1920 to 1921. It had a self-made V8 engine with air cooling . It was specified with 35 hp . The chassis had a 312 cm wheelbase . The bodies were made of less metal than usual. Two different touring cars and limousines are named . Some were painted in strikingly light colors.

Then the Six followed . It had an air-cooled six-cylinder engine from Cameron , although it remains unclear whether it was Cameron .

In 1922 the Six had a six-cylinder engine from the Falls Motor Corporation . It made 46 hp. The vehicles now had a steel frame and an aluminum body . The wheelbase was 307 cm. Touring cars and roadsters are mentioned .
