Wizard Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Charlotte , North Carolina in 1920 . FW Edwardy Sr., FW Edwards Jr., and Charles Hamel, who also ran the Cyclomobile Manufacturing Company , were involved. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Wizard . Production ended in 1921.

The only production model was the junior . It had a two-cylinder , air-cooled engine . It made 15 hp and drove the rear axle via a planetary gear . The chassis had a wheelbase of 254 cm . The structure was a roadster with two seats. The curb weight was given as 364 kg. The original price was 395 US dollars .

A larger model called Senior was announced, but no longer appeared.
