Halladay Motors Corporation , previously Halladay Motor Car Company , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

ED Baxter, JN Horne, TE Huth, George B. Stacey and YF Stewart of Ohio formed an investor group. They took over the Halladay division of the Barley Motor Car Company in 1917 . They continued the production of automobiles. The brand name remained Halladay . Attica , Lexington , Mansfield and Warren are initially named as locations , with production only taking place in Attica and Warren.

In 1920 the company moved to Newark and now traded as Halladay Motors Corporation . Sales were bad. In December 1921, the Falcon brand was announced for cheaper vehicles. One vehicle was shown at an auto show in New York City in January 1922 . Series production was no longer possible. Bankruptcy followed in March 1922 . Production ended with that.

Over 300 vehicles were built in total.
