Crane-Simplex Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Henry Middlebrook Crane previously ran Crane & Whitman Automobile Works and Crane Motor Car Company and worked for the Simplex Automobile Company . In 1922 he took over what was left of Simplex and founded a new company. The seat was in Long Island City , a borough of Queens in New York City . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was officially Crane-Simplex for the first time . Vehicle production ended in the same year. In total, only a few vehicles were built.
In addition, he was busy with the service and repair of simplex vehicles.
