Scientific Automotive Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in New York City in August 1920 . In 1921 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Rodgers . Two sources suggest that the vehicles were primarily intended for export . The Automobile Journal listed the Rodgers as a current model back in March 1923. However, there is no evidence that production ran that long. Two sources agree that 1921 was the last year of production.

Only one model was on offer. It had a four-cylinder engine . It was specified with 36 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 284 cm . A touring car has been handed down as a structure . It cost 1,295 dollars .
