Feris J. DeVault was from France . He was an automobile dealer for Nash Motors in Livingston , Montana . The business and home were at 109 South B Street. A few automobiles were built in the 1930s. The brand name was DeVault . It is not known when the company was dissolved.

The chassis came from Nash and many parts from the Model T Ford . Visually, the vehicles were somewhat similar to the Ford Model A built in 1928–1931 and the then Plymouth . The appearance is said to be stylish.
