Dragon Motors Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Hyman Edelman, Herman Neidick and Joseph Stein founded the company in July 1920. The company was based in Chicago , Illinois . A work from the Selig Polyscope Company was acquired. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Dragon . The vehicles have been called the most elegant cars in America . Production plans amounted to one vehicle a day. In January 1921, production ended due to government pressure. In the summer of 1921, the owners were charged with fraud and later convicted. Bankruptcy followed in September 1921 .
A total of 13 vehicles were built.
There was no connection to the Dragon Motor Company , which years earlier also offered cars as Dragon .

Only one model was on offer. It was similar to the Revere Motor Company vehicles . The vehicles were powered by a four-cylinder engine with an output of 58 hp . The chassis had a 305 cm wheelbase . A five-seater touring car , a four-seater Victoria and a two-seater roadster called Pup were available as superstructures .
