Bryan Steam Corporation was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

George A. Bryan and Oscar Bryan founded the Bryan Steam Corporation in the US state of New Mexico on September 11, 1916 . They made six automobiles from 1918 to 1923 , which were marketed as Bryan . There was also a plant in Peru in Indiana . The company names Bryan Steam Motors and Bryan Harvester Company are also mentioned. Tractors were also created . The company later manufactured boilers. On June 19, 1967, the seat was relocated to Santa Fe , New Mexico. On March 11, 1999, it merged with the Burham Acquisition Corporation . On December 30, 1999 the company was taken over by Bryan Steam LLC , which was founded on December 22, 1999 in New Castle , Delaware .

Steam cars were on offer . Most were bodied as touring cars . A 1921 prospectus also shows a brougham .

A commercial vehicle with a steam engine and steam tractors have also come down to us.
