Primo Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

E. Van Winkle of the Van Winkle Gin and Machine Company founded the company in 1910. The seat was in Atlanta , Georgia . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Primo . In mid-1911, the first bankruptcy could still be prevented. Nevertheless, it went bankrupt in early 1912 .

The LR model had a four-cylinder engine with a 95.25 mm bore , 114.3 mm stroke , 3258 cm³ displacement and 22.5 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 254 cm . The structure was a roadster with two seats.

The other models had engines with a 101.6 mm bore. This resulted in a displacement of 3707 cm³ and an output of 25 hp. The wheelbase was 279 cm. Model FP was a touring car with five seats, Model R a roadster with three seats, and Model TT a toy tonneau with four seats.
