Summit Carriage-Mobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Waterloo , Iowa in 1907 . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was initially Farmer-Mobile and from 1908 Summit . Production ended in 1909.

vehicles

Summit used special motors. There were one , two , three and four-cylinder engines that developed between 8 and 40 hp . However, it is unclear whether all four engines were actually used for the vehicles.

Highwheelers were on offer . A single-cylinder engine with a 133.35 mm bore , 127 mm stroke , 1774 cm³ displacement and 10 HP output has been handed down. He drove the rear axle. A differential gear is explicitly handed down. The turntable steering was completely out of date. The open body offered space for two people.
