Belmont Electric Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Wyandotte , Michigan in 1915 . In the following year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Belmont . From March 1916 JH Bishop was the president. Production also ended in 1916. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

There was no association with the Belmont Automobile Manufacturing Company , which used the same brand name.

Electric cars were on offer . The power of the electric motors is not specified. The range was 120 km. There was a choice of four- and six-seater sedans and a small commercial vehicle .
