Hobbie Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Leslie Hobbie started the company around 1901 in Hampden , Iowa as a car dealership . Vehicles from Ford , Oldsmobile , Premier and Reo are mentioned . Between 1908 and 1910 he manufactured automobiles. The brand name was Hobbie , possibly also Hobbie Accessible or Accessible .

From 1910 Hobbie sold vehicles from Overland , from 1930 from Chrysler and 1939 from Crosley Motors . Then the track of the company is lost.
