Ardsley Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Frederik P. Fuller and A. Everett Hunt Jr. founded the company in 1904. The seat was in Yonkers , New York . In 1905 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Ardsley . William S. Howard was the designer. On January 7, 1905, a newspaper reported that there were 25 vehicles in production, with 50 more to follow. Production ended at the end of 1906. On May 16, 1907, the company was dissolved. One source says that it stayed with these 75 vehicles.

Only one model was on offer. It had a four-cylinder engine with 35/40 hp . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox and cardan drive . The wheelbase was 254 cm. Only building form was a Roi des Belges - touring cars .
