Upton Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

JC and LH Upton ran the company. To do this, they raised capital from donors in Bristol , Indiana and Constantine , Michigan . The plant was to be built in Bristol. In 1914 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Upton . The American Cyclecar reported on the company in May 1914. Production ended in the same year. At least two vehicles were built in total.

There were no ties to the Beverly Manufacturing Company and Lebanon Motor Works , which previously also manufactured passenger cars with this brand name.
