Morse-Readio Auto Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Glenn E. Morse and George N. Readio founded the company in 1909. The seat was in Springfield , Massachusetts . Readio was previously a designer at Springfield Motor Car Company . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Morse Readio . Vehicle production ended in 1910.

After that, the company operated as a car dealership . From 1911 were trucks from General Motors sold. Vehicles from the American Locomotive Company were added in 1913 and Velie in 1914 . Then the track of the company is lost.
