Diamond Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1904 in New Haven , Connecticut . The factory was in Meriden in the same state. John T. Murphy, who lived in Meriden, was the chief engineer. In 1905 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Diamond . Production ended in the same year. In total, only a few vehicles were built.
