H. Brothers was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company began manufacturing carriages in Chicago , Illinois in the 19th century . Between 1902 and 1904, it manufactured automobiles for the first time in collaboration with the Northwestern Furniture Company . In 1908 automobiles were created that were sold on their own account. The brand name was HB , occasionally also written HB . After 1908 the company manufactured vehicle parts.

It is not known when it was disbanded.

The only model was a high wheeler . An air-cooled two-cylinder engine with 10 HP power drove the rear axle via a friction gear . The chassis had a 193 cm wheelbase . One illustration shows an open runabout with two seats and a canopy. The original price was 500 US dollars .
