O-We-Go (1914)

The O-We-Go Car Company was an American automobile manufacturer.

The company introduced only in 1914 in Owego (New York) a Cyclecar ago. The company was founded on February 4, 1914 by George Ramsey, a well-known New York banker, and WI Payne, who had ties to the Standard Oil Company . The O-We-Go was designed by Charles B. Hatfield Jr.

The car had a V-2 engine of Ives . A bore of 85.725 mm and a stroke of 95.25 mm resulted in a displacement of 1099 cm³ . It made 12 bhp (8.8 kW). There was a roadster for $ 385 , a pickup truck for $ 395, and a closed van for $ 405.

Production was stopped on October 30, 1914 and in January 1915 the company filed for bankruptcy. At least one O-We-Go has survived to this day and is in the Northeast Classic Car Museum .
