Beisel Motorette Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Monroe , Michigan . The designer was Frank McPhillips. In 1914 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Beisel . In April 1914 it was announced that the National United Service Company would sell the vehicles for two years. However, as early as July 1914, McPhillips filed for bankruptcy .

The only model is called a cyclecar , although it does not meet the criteria. A four-cylinder engine from Prugh with 1560 cm³ displacement and 12 HP power drove the rear axle via a friction gear and belt. The chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm . The roadster offered space for two people side by side. The curb weight was 397 kg.
