Koppin Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

HS Koppin founded the company in Fenton , Michigan in 1914 . To this end, he acquired the remains of the Fenton Cyclecar Company in the spring of 1914 . He continued their production in his own factory. The brand name was Koppin . Production came to a standstill at the end of 1914.

The only model was the Model A . It was broadly in the small car from Fenton , however, was 10 US dollars cheaper. A two-cylinder engine with 88.9 mm bore , 93.218 mm stroke , 1157 cm³ displacement and 10 HP power propelled the vehicles. Due to the cubic capacity, the criteria for cycle cars were not met. The chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm . The vehicles were bodied as roadsters for two people. The curb weight was around 304 kg.
