Company history

The company was founded in Grand Rapids , Michigan in 1914 . In the same year the production of commercial vehicles began . The first vehicle was presented at the Boston Truck Show . A passenger car also followed in 1914 . The brand name was Decatur . Production ended in 1915.

A connection to Decatur Motor Car Company , which used the same brand name, is possible.

The only car model was the 12/14 HP . A water-cooled four - cylinder engine with 12/14 hp power drove the rear axle via a three-speed gearbox and a chain. The hood was noticeably long.
