Tennant Motor Limited was an American car dealer and at times manufacturer of automobiles . The spellings Tennant Motors Company and Tennant Motors Limited in two sources are refuted by an advertisement from 1916.

Company history

WG Tennant founded the company in Chicago , Illinois in 1907 . He sold Marmon and Peerless cars . In 1914 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Tennant . Production ended in 1915. An advertisement from 1916 has survived. Then the track of the company is lost.

Only one model was on offer. It had a four-cylinder engine that was specified with 30/35 hp . There was a choice of a roadster with two seats and an open touring car with five seats.
