A Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Sacramento , California in 1910 . EC Collins was President, JH Graham Vice President, CE Gibbs Secretary, and TF Cooke Treasurer. On September 26, 1910, a newspaper reported that the company planned to produce more than 5,000 vehicles annually. Automobile production did not begin until 1912. The brand name was Blue & Gold , based on the state colors of California. Production ended in 1913. The number of vehicles produced remained small. One vehicle registered in California from 1916 to 1917 had the serial number 10028. One source suggests that fewer than 100 vehicles were made.

One model had a four-cylinder engine . The chassis had a wheelbase of 274 cm . There was also a model with a six-cylinder engine . Both had a three-speed transmission, electric lights, starter and left-hand drive .
