EP Robson Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Percy Robson was involved in Western Tool Works , which manufactured Gale vehicles between 1905 and 1907 . A year after its dissolution, he founded his own company. One source presents it as a reorganization. The seat was also in Galesburg , Indiana . He began producing automobiles in 1909. The brand name was Robson . Existing parts were mostly used up. Production ended in 1909.

Robson also operated the Robson Manufacturing Company as a mechanical workshop.

The vehicles were based on the Gale models.

The Model C had a single cylinder engine with 127 mm bore , 152.4 mm stroke and 1930 cc displacement . The engine was specified with 8/10 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 185 cm . The setup was a runabout with two seats.

Above that were two models with a two-cylinder engine . A 139.7 mm bore and 139.7 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 4282 cm³ and a power output of 30/32 hp. The wheelbase was 241 cm. Model GS was a two-seat runabout and Model K-09 was a five-seat touring car .

At the top was the model R . There was only one prototype from Gale . The four-cylinder engine had a bore of 120.65 mm, a stroke of 127 mm and a displacement of 5808 cc . The engine output was specified as 40/45 hp. The wheelbase measured 284 cm. The vehicles were bodied as open touring cars with five seats.
