Beaver State Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

PA Combs founded the company in 1912. The seat was in Portland , Oregon and the plant in Gresham . ET Fetch, who previously worked at Packard , had the role of superintendent. In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Beaver . However, there were patent disputes with Overland . Vehicle production also ended in 1912. A total of two vehicles were created, which were also sold and registered in California . The work was not completely finished until 1914. Sewer pipes, metal castings, wheels for rail vehicles, cement mixing machines and gasoline engines were made until 1920 .

There was no association with the Beaver Manufacturing Company , which used the same brand name.

The only model had a six-cylinder engine with 45 hp . Some parts for the drive came from the Lanchester Motor Company in England . One illustration shows an open touring car .

The track of a vehicle is lost during the long period of bankruptcy . The second vehicle fell victim to a fire in 1929.
