Andermat Machine Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Gilbert M. Anderson and Robert P. Matches have jointly operated the Gray Taxicab Company for several years . This company used taxis in Los Angeles and San Francisco . At the end of 1915 they founded the new vehicle production company. The seat was in Sunnyvale , California . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Gray . Six to seven vehicles should be built every day. Production ended in 1916 when the partners split up in a dispute.

There were no ties to the Gray Light Car Corporation and the Gray Motor Corporation , which later used the same brand name.
