Central Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Connersville , Indiana . In 1913 the production of automobiles began in cooperation with the Lexington Motor Company from the same city. It was launched in December 1913 at the New York Automobile Show . The brand name was Howard . The Howard Motor Car Company was founded in Chicago for sales . HP Tuttle and JC Moore were the designers. Production ended in 1914.
