Lende Automobile Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Olaus Lende was an electrical engineer at Granite Falls , Minnesota . From 1902 he manufactured individual automobiles. The brand name was loin . It was not until 1907 that he officially founded the vehicle production company in the same city. Production ended in 1909. A total of 17 vehicles were built.

The first vehicle had a two-cylinder engine , chain drive and a touring car body. Ole Swenson was the buyer. Two similar vehicles followed.

The next vehicles had an air-cooled four-cylinder engine .

From 1907 to 1909, a model with a four-cylinder engine with 30 hp , planetary gear and cardan drive was on the price lists for $ 1,800 .
