The Ajax Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

SL Simpson, AL Simpson and Walter Simpson founded the company in July 1901. The headquarters were on West 36th Street in Manhattan , New York City in the US state of New York . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Ajax , possibly with the addition of Electric . Production ended in 1903.

The only model was a light electric car . An electric motor propelled the vehicle. The open body of the runabout offered space for two people.
