Company history

Clifford Bonneville founded the company in April 1903 in New Rochelle , New York State . In the same year the production of automobiles and motor boats began . The brand name was New Rochelle .

On July 28, 1903, a fire completely destroyed the three-story facility. 14 automobiles and 2 motor boats fell victim to the flames. Two vehicles could be saved. The damage amounted to 50 thousand to 225 thousand US dollars . The insurance was only $ 14,000. Plans to build a new plant and resume production failed.
