Company history

Gilbert J. Loomis had designed a steam car in 1896 that did not go into series production. In 1900 he founded the company in Westfield , Massachusetts . Now he manufactured automobiles with gasoline engines. The brand name was Loomis . There was a contract with Bloomingdale’s for 500 commercial vehicles that were to be delivered within two months. Since Loomis could never produce so many vehicles in this short time, the contract was terminated. In 1903 the name was changed. Production ended in 1904.
