Milwaukee Motor Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of engines and automobiles .
Company history
The company was based in Milwaukee , Wisconsin . At first it only manufactured engines. Passenger cars were also produced between 1903 and 1904 . The brand name was Milwaukee for the first year and then New Monarch . In November 1904 the secretary and treasurer Marner announced the discontinuation of vehicle production because the profit was not right.
It is not known when the company was dissolved.
Other American manufacturers of Monarch passenger cars were Monarch Automobile Company , Monarch Motor Car Company (Illinois) , Monarch Machine Company and Monarch Motor Car Company (Michigan) .

As far as known, only one model was on offer. A single cylinder engine drove the rear axle via a planetary gear and a chain. The structure was an open runabout with two seats. It was steered with a steering lever from the right seat.
48 vehicles were produced in the first year and 12 in the second year.
