Mahoning Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

WP Williamson was a partner in the Youngstown Carriage & Wagon Company . Charles T. Gaither was an engineer with the Fredonia Manufacturing Company . Together with a donor named Mahoning, they founded the company in April 1904. The company was based in Youngstown , Ohio . In September 1904 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Mahoning . Production ended in 1905.

In 1906 the company was dissolved.

A small model had a single cylinder engine with 9 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 208 cm . There was a choice of a tonneau with side access, a Stanhope and a delivery van .

The Four had a four-cylinder engine that was specified with 24/28 hp. The wheelbase was 254 cm. The only body shape offered was a touring car .
