International Motor Carriage Company , previously the National Motor Carriage Company , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Percy L. Klock founded the National Motor Carriage Company in Stamford , Connecticut , in 1899 . He developed an automobile. In 1900 the name was changed to International Motor Carriage Company . Robert S. Rudd and Langdon Greenwood are named as other people involved. The seat was now in New York City . The factory was still in Stamford. In 1900 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was initially International . From 1900 the vehicles were sold as Klock . Production ended in 1901.

There were no affiliations with the other US automakers of the International brand: International Motor Car Company , International Harvester, and International Automobile Company .

Only one model was on offer. It had a two-cylinder engine with 5 hp . Superstructures were Phaeton and Stanhope . The original price was 1,200 US dollars .
