Buffalo Electric Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1901 in Buffalo , New York , United States . The production of automobiles began, which were marketed as Buffalo . Production ended in 1906 when the Babcock Electric Carriage Company took over.

There were no affiliations with Buffalo Automobile & Auto-Bi Company , Buffalo Gasoline Motor Company, and Buffalo Electric Vehicle Company using the same brand name.

Electric cars were on offer . The performance of the electric motors has not been handed down. The batteries were fully charged within 45 minutes according to the company.

In 1901 a Stanhope was the only body shape.

A Golf Brake was added in 1902 .

In 1903 the range consisted of a Victoria Stanhope and a touring car .

In 1904 there was another Stanhope and the Golf Brake .

Three versions have survived for the period from 1905 to 1906. The Model 1 was available as a two- and four-seat Stanhope, the Model 3 as golf Brake and Model 4 as a four-seater Stanhope.
