The Columbus company was active in the field of mechanical engineering. From 1903 to 1904, it made a few automobiles that were marketed as the Eclipse . Another source states that vehicle production only took place in 1904.

There were no affiliations with any of the other Eclipse-branded car manufacturers : Eclipse Automobile Company , Eclipse Machine Division , Krueger Manufacturing Company , Eclipse Machine Company (Michigan), and Eclipse Motor Car Company .
