Quinsler & Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

George J. Quinsler ran Emond & Quinsler together with Joseph P. Emond from 1870 . Quinsler left the company in 1883. He then founded his own company in Boston , Massachusetts in 1884 . He made carriages . George W. McNear joined the company in 1895. In 1899 20 bodies were built for the Electric Vehicle Company .

In 1904 the production of own automobiles began. The brand name was Quinsler . This production ended in the same year.

In 1905 McNear became a co-owner.

For 1906 a body is on a chassis of Packard survived.

In 1911 there was a reorganization in George W. McNear .

Motor vehicles

Only one model was on offer. It had a single cylinder engine with 7 hp from De Dion-Bouton . It was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle. The structure was a two-seat runabout with a jump seat behind it. The original price was 950 US dollars . One source says the price was relatively high.
