Claude Sintz Inc. was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Clark Sintz had already started producing a vehicle in 1895, which was finished in 1897. He made engines with the Wolverine Motor Works . In 1902 he designed another vehicle. For series production, he turned to the Matheson brothers, who refused and later founded the Matheson Automobile Company .

Clark Sintz sold Wolverine Motor Works in 1902. On the one hand he founded the Sintz Gas Engine Company for engine production and on the other hand Claude Sintz Inc. for vehicle production. His sons Claude and Guy helped him with this. The seat was in Grand Rapids , Michigan . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Sintz . In January 1904 it went bankrupt . A total of six vehicles were built.
