Anthony Motor and Cycle Company , previously Anthony Motor and Manufacturing Company , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

WO Anthony founded the company in Colorado Springs , Colorado in 1896 . He manufactured accessories for the automotive industry and developed vehicles himself. In October 1899, a newspaper announced that production was starting. The brand name was Anthony . Vehicle production ended in 1900. In total, only a few vehicles were built. He continued to manufacture engines, steering and accessories. In 1904 he died in a car accident. His widow sold the company to the Western Automobile & Supply Company in 1906 .
