Special Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

GH Eveland, MT Eveland, Frank Scott, Tom A. Scott and EC Shunard founded the company in 1902. The Horseless Age reported about it on January 29, 1902. The seat was in Cincinnati , Ohio . At first it was a car dealership , later also for Ford vehicles. There was also a repair shop. In 1904 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Special . Vehicle production ended in the same year.

The Horseless Age reported bankruptcy on October 19, 1910 .
