Olean Garage Company , previously Close Cycle Company and Close Cycle and Automobile Company , was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The brothers Frank and Fred Close had been running the Close Cycle Company for bicycle manufacturing since 1896 . The seat was in Olean , New York . In 1902 automobiles were added. The brand name was Close . In 1904 the name was changed to Close Cycle and Automobile Company and in 1905 to Olean Garage Company . The focus was now on the repair of vehicles. The distribution of vehicles by the Cartercar Company was added. In 1907 the company's own automobile production ended. In the past two years five motor vehicles had been built.
