Boston Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in 1900 in Bar Harbor , Maine . E. Shirley Goddard was President, Paul Hunt Manager, and George P. Billings Superintendent. The production of automobiles began. The brand name was Standard in 1900 and later Boston . From 1901 the vehicles were marketed as Bar Harbor . In February 1901, vehicles were on display at the Boston Automobile Show . Two vehicles were sold to England and one to India . Production ended in 1902. The reason is not known because business was good.
