Eisenhuth was an American car brand.

Brand history

John W. Eisenhuth from San Francisco , California designed an automobile in 1896. The production took place in cooperation with a mechanical engineering company from Newark in New Jersey . The brand name was Eisenhuth . Other vehicles were built up to 1900. Then production ended.

Eisenhuth later founded the Eagle Motor Car Company in Connecticut .

The vehicles had four wheels, the front ones being smaller than the rear ones. The wheelbase was remarkably short. The open body offered space for four people. The gasoline engine was mounted in the rear of the vehicle.
