Oxford Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

A few people from Boston , Massachusetts founded the company in the US state of Maine in 1900 . In May of the same year they took over the Everett Motor Carriage Company of Everett , Massachusetts. The production of automobiles began there. The brand name was Oxford . CW Jones, GF Killane and CM Randall were involved. Production ended in 1900.

There was no connection with the Oxford Manufacturing Company of Oxford , Pennsylvania , which used the same brand name.
