Meteor (make of car, Missouri)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Meteor was an American automobile brand. The manufacturer Lemon Automobile and Manufacturing Company was based in St. Louis (Missouri) from 1904 to 1905 .

description

After they didn't want to call the company's car "Lemon", they decided on "Meteor". This choice was not a particularly happy one, as there were or had been automobiles with this name in the USA. A high-wheeled Surrey was produced that offered space for four people on two benches.

In 1905 automobile production was stopped.
