Johnston Gasoline Motor Company was an American manufacturer of engines and automobiles .

Company history

The brothers Carl D. and James H. Johnston operated the company based in Manchester , New Hampshire . Mainly they manufactured engines and were active as a repair shop. In 1902 they produced some automobiles that were marketed as Johnston . Customers were from the area.

In 1907 the company was dissolved.

Products

Some of the engines were stationary . Others were used to power boats and automobiles. In addition, power transmissions and other accessories for motor vehicles were created.
