Company history

JC Meader founded the company in Cleveland , Ohio in 1902 . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Noble . Production ended in the same year. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

The main model had a single cylinder engine with 6.5 hp . It drove the rear axle via a chain. The setup was a runabout . The original price was 800 US dollars . The vehicles could be used as mobile workplaces. The motor shaft drove devices via a belt. A Washington, DC buyer used this to drive a sharpening stone for scissors.

In addition, one or two vehicles with a two-cylinder engine were built . It made 10 hp. They were bodied as touring cars .
