TJ Lindsay Automobile Parts Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company was founded in Indianapolis , Indiana in 1902 . It manufactured drives and other parts for electric cars. In November of the same year, the Stutz Manufacturing Company from Dayton , Ohio and its director, Harry C. Stutz , were taken over. Automobile production began in 1902. The brand name was Lindsay . Plans for 1903 were between 500 and 1000 vehicles. Vehicle production ended in 1903.
In 1903 there was a reorganization with Harley Russell as an investor. The new company name was Lindsay-Russell Axle Company .

Vehicles with gasoline engines and with electric motors were on offer . They were also available as kit cars . The chassis had a wheelbase of 173 cm . The setup was an open runabout .
