Brew-Hatcher Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Francis O. Brew and William A. Hatcher, who previously worked for Peerless Motor Car Corporation and Packard , ran the company from 1903. The company was based in Cleveland , Ohio . They made accessories for automobiles. In 1904 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Brew Hatcher , often shortened to B & H . In January 1904, vehicles were presented at the Chicago Automobile Show . In the fall of 1905, Brew withdrew from the company. Hatcher then stopped vehicle production, but continued to manufacture parts. It is not known when the company was dissolved.

In 1904 there was only one model called the Two . The two-cylinder engine developed 16 hp . The wheelbase was 201 cm. The open touring car offered space for five people.

The Two received for 1905 cm longer wheelbase of the 234th The structure was a tonneau with side entry.

A four was also added to the range in 1905 . It had a four-cylinder engine that was specified with 18/24 hp. Its chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm. A touring car in the Model C has been handed down .
