Sparks Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

WJ Barnett, John Curtin, S. Goodenough, TJ Sparks and Charles H. Taylor founded the company in the fall of 1899. The company was based in San Francisco , California . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Sparks . Production ended in 1903 when the company was dissolved.

There was no association with CF Sparks Machine Company , which in 1903 used the same brand name for its passenger cars.
